In the year 13 with ten years of singing and dancing classes ahead of her, she and her mother traveled on a journey to L.A. for a year to find out if they could make it in the show business. She landed her first job as a professional dancer in only two months: Danny Kaye's The Danny Kaye Show. She says "I learned from my lessons as a dancer and singer in a variety of ways." "The mental discipline gained from these classes is a huge benefit as an actor." The debut performance of O'Toole in My Three Sons was followed by parts in Gunsmoke and The Mod Squad. She has also been seen on Hawaii Five-O, The Mod Squad, The Partridge Family. One of her greatest loves, despite her successes in film and on television has been theatre. The time her stint on Smallville came to an end, she chose to concentrate on theatre, which is what she's done for the last ten years. She was in New York and her first audition resulted in her being selected for The Sea Gull. Her appearances have been in various Off-Broadway shows, including Adam Rapp's Kindness, Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska and Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday For Creve Couer.
