Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend and part-time work. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy in her performance when in comparison to the other students. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox played flute in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. The group did not get to compete in the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. She was the main vocalist of The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. This came out in 1992. It received lots of praise both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo, released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs most loved soul jazz and blues tunes from her upbringing. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera a collection of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album, which was released in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career by releasing her first album Diva in the year 1992. The album was the inspiration of many hit songs like"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass.
